A little bit of this and a little bit of that

I was bad at blogging before having a baby. I thought that once I had Audri I would keep the blog updated better but it turns out I have just gotten worse. So instead of doing a bunch of posts about what has been going on here lately I figured I would just make one long one.

Halloween

This year for Halloween we went to the Rockwood's house for a party. I will admit I was a little out of it this year and couldn't decided what to be so at the last minute we found some make-shift cotumes. Ricky went as Alessandro del Piero (a famous soccer player for those of you like me who don't know who that is) and I went as a Jazz fan since I had a jersey from way back in my glory days of working at fanzz. We didn't buy a costume for Audri but sweet Kristen Rockwood had an old costume from her daughter and she let us borrow it so Audri ended up being a pumpkin. And a mighty cute one at that.

Little pumpkin falling alseep.

Audri smiling in her sleep.

Two Months

The last two months have flown by. Audri is getting so big. She started sleeping through the night at seven weeks. She is happy and smiley unless you are changing her bum or she is hungry. She cooes like crazy and is starting to laugh. We went to her two month appointment and she weighed in at 10 and a half pounds and she was 22 inches long. I personally think she has gained most of her weight in her cute chubby cheeks. I just want to eat them up.

Blessing

Audriana was blessed on November 7th. Ricky did a wonderful job. The blessing was so beautiful. After we had family and friends over for some good food.

Unfortunately I didn't get a good picture of her in her dress. Maybe I should put her back in it before she gets too big and take a couple.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday this year. We went to Ricky's mom's house for lunch and then to my brother Steven's house for dinner. I was dreading two Thanksgiving meals because you always end up so stuffed that by the end you are so bloated and miserable you wished you hadn't eaten anything. The spacing between the two meals ended up being perfect and neither of us had to be rolled out the door when the time came to go home. I didn't get pictures at Yoly's house but I managed to snap a few at my brother's.

Audri's first Thanksgiving

After dinner we played rock band. We got my dad to sing and all I can say is it was HILARIOUS! The highlight of the evening was when he sang Michael Jackson's Beat It he didn't just sing but did a little dancin' as well.

I am loving being a mother. When Ricky and I got married I thought I knew what joy was but ever since I became a mom I have realized I only had just a little taste of it. I have been so blessed and I am VERY greatful for ALL that I have.

What do you...

...make for breakfast? Now that I have more time in the morning I would love to make a more nutritious breakfast  for the husband. We usually have some type of boring old cereal. When I do make breakfast it is one of three meals: pancakes, eggs and toast, or french toast. So I am wondering what you make for breakfast. Any suggestions/recipes would be great.
