Something new for a change

I must say I am getting adventurous in my old age. Last night Ricky and I went with some friends to a place called Thai Village in Lehi. Obviously by the name you can tell it was Thai food. Delicious! I loved it. A few years back I probably would not have tried it. The food was so good I just kept eating and eating until I got to the point that if I ate another bite I would pop. The service is just as good. We ordered and a few minutes later our soup was on the table and maybe five minutes after that our meals arrived. Any one in search of a good Thai restaurant should definitely try this place.

Spoiled

I came into my room the other night and who did I find on my pillow? Lucy.

She totally has this look of excuse me I am trying to sleep here.

Wii

Ever since I babysat for my good friend Michelle and experienced how much fun the Wii is I have wanted one. You would think that by now I would have one but do I have one? Nope! It seems that everyone I know is going to get one before I do. A couple weekends ago my mother-in-law got to experience the joy of playing the Wii. She loved it so much that for my father-in-laws birthday she bought him one. We stayed up until one in the morning playing with them. These are just a few pics of our evening playing the Wii.Yoly concentrating really hard as she learns to play tennis.

Road trip

We took our first road trip to St George. It was super short but well worth it. Ricky had to go look at an investment property down there for a client and decided I should come. We drove down, looked at the house, saw a movie, went to dinner, slept, played a rousing game of mini golf where dispite my three hole in one's he still managed to beat me and came home. We had lots of quality time together which I absolutely loved. I still hate having to share him with everyone else. And that was the end of our first road trip. I always have the best intentions of taking lots of pictures when we do something fun but never end up taking any so the one and only picture I got was when we were leaving. Next time I will do better. ( I hope)

Happy birthday to the love of my life!

Ricky's birthday was about two weeks ago and since I am a slacker when it comes to blogging I am posting his birthday blog now. I had the day off work and when I asked him what he wanted to do he said he just wanted to spend the day with me. Of course my heart melted and his wish was my command. We went out to lunch when he got home from school and then shopping for jeans. After that we headed to get pedicures. I know I know a guy getting a pedicure sounds a little feminine but who doesn't like getting your feet and legs massaged? To be funny Ricky had them paint his toes. (Normally they don't do that) We came home after and I made a nice dinner and rum cake. MMMM, rum cake. We had such a great day!
